Scientists have discovered a small asteroid, 2024 pt5, which was recently pulled closer to earth's orbit by gravity, sparking interest from nasa for further tracking.

The dashboard displays the date of closest approach, approximate object diameter, relative size and distance. The asteroid, known as 2024 pk2, will make its closest approach on august 11.
